It's been an incredibly busy month here at Applegate, in fact, it's been the busiest month we've ever had!
The month started off with a bang at the Marsden F.C. football ground on 3rd November at their Charity Bonfire Party. As proud sponsors of Marsden F.C. (www.pitchero.com/clubs/marsdenfc/), we were so pleased to be part of such a fantastic event, especially as all the proceeds from the event were going to Ruddi's Retreat, a charity that "provides holidays from the heart" to help families with seriously ill children to have access to a holiday home for free. The event raised a fantastic £742 for the charity and a good time was had by all on the night! (For more information on this fantastic charity, click here to visit their website).
We also took part in a photo shoot for the Huddersfield Examiner with the Marsden F.C. team earlier this month and were pleased to find our photograph in the paper the following week. Managing Director Amy Wray and Lettings Administrator Laura Joy Everitt went down to the Marsden F.C. grounds to meet the team and wish them well in the cup and the league. With our very own football shirts we think we really looked like part of the team!
It's been our busiest month ever so far in terms of agreeing lets on new properties and with 62% of new business coming from recommendations from existing clients, we couldn't be happier. We've had no landlord withdrawals for another month in a row (despite there being a £0 withdrawal fee) and as we get ready for Christmas we're going out of our way to show people around properties on evenings and weekends to ensure that everyone is moved into a new home in time for the holidays!
